The Covenant Path: The Way to Eternal Life
The Covenant Path: The Way to Eternal Life

Takeaways:
We are all princes and princesses sent to earth to prove that we will do all that God commands us to do. The Savior was sent to redeem us and to show us the path to return to God. “The path to perfection is the covenant path, and Jesus Christ is the center of all ordinances and covenants.” Christ invites all to come unto Him.
Coming unto Christ is done by exercising faith in Him, repenting daily, making covenants, and enduring to the end by keeping our covenants.
The Savior emphasized two things to help us keep covenants:
1) “The Holy Ghost can teach us, remind us of the Savior’s teachings, and abide with us forever.”
2) “The Savior instituted the ordinance of the sacrament that we may always remember Him and have His Spirit to be with us.” The sacrament helps us to remember Him and allows us to receive forgiveness when we repent.

Questions to Ponder:
Evaluate your progress on the covenant path. What are your next steps?
Evaluate your sensitivity to the promptings and teachings of the Holy Ghost. Do you feel confident in your ability to receive personal revelation?
Does the sacrament remind you of Christ and your baptismal covenants? How can you better utilize the power of the sacrament in your Sunday worship?
